Ground Breaking Ceremony TESDA Skills Training Court for IPs at Cristorey Capas, Tarlac June 5, 2018

The organizers provide tents, rostrum , shovels, hard hats, umbrellas, sound system and bottled water.  Additionally, chairs, tables, trash bins and food service items were also provided, not only for the guests but most importantly for the beneficiaries of the proposed project, the Indigenous people of Capas, the Aetas.

The program  started with a simple prayer led by Pstr. Edwin A. Garcia from Independent Baptist Mission for Asians. The opening message is indeed a very opening one, as Capas Municipal Mayor, Reynaldo L. Catacutan, caught all the attention of all the people who made the ground breaking possible, i.e. community officials, school administrators and heads, networking groups, media personalities, municipal staff, and most importantly, the IPs. They attentively listened to every word that came out from Mayor Reycat, especially when he started to talk confidently every benefit of the TESDA Skills Training Court for IPs at CristoreyCapas, Tarlac, indescribable happiness and anticipation of overflowing graces marked on the faces of the IPs.

The ground breaking ceremony was highlighted by the presence of TESDA Director General Sec. Guiling A. Mamondiongas introduced by the Regional Director of TESDA Region 3, Dir. Dante J. Navarro, both pledged their full support to the TESDA Skills Training Court for IPs, since both have a heart to the indigenous people, simply because the secretary himself belongs to one of the IPs of Mindanao.
